Occlude is the leading supplier of Kettenbach dental products across the UK. This family business has worked hard to retain their old-fashioned values ensuring that a fantastic product range, technical research & vital information is made available to customers whilst also mirroring Kettenbach’s ethos of ” We are never satisfied until our customers are satisfied with us” and philosophy to offer excellent products for our customers”.
The existing branding fell short of their place within the marketplace and their values, with an overly complex design that was expensive and difficult to recreate when printing, became illegible at smaller sizes and lacked versatility on different coloured backgrounds.
After thorough research into the company and the industry and a comprehensive consultation with the client, the eJIGSAW design created a brand new identity was created, bringing together three core elements; customer communication, industry experts, and a healthy smile.
Furthermore, once the identity was finalised and signed-off by the client, comprehensive brand guidelines were created to help maintain the creative vision and ensure consistency across all digital, social, and printed platforms.
After conducting a thorough audit of Occlude’s existing website it was clear that it matched their old branding and was formulaic, dated, difficult to navigate, and generally not fit for purpose. Once the new identity was complete, we conducted further research including marketing and industry research, customer personas, competitor research and website structure, and then began implementing the new branding and colour palettes to create a detailed style guide to determine the ‘look and feel’ of the website.
After research, we decided to create an effective and bespoke eCommerce solution for Occlude with our development team constructing the website from the ground-up using the WordPress content management system and WooCommerce eCommerce platform.
The website focused on simplified design and an improved user experience, with the goal of increasing brand awareness and ultimately turning visitors into customers.
