Disability Today and its’ network is all about delivering local, national, and international news regarding all aspects of disabilities, in real-time. Covering a wide range of topics from research, education, sport, leisure, and travel, whilst staying relevant to the disabled community, and all in one place.
The aim of the Disability Today website is to have a positive effect on the lives of the disabled community, whilst also giving them targeted and relevant information, news, and possible, and ultimately to include a community that is often forgotten.
Our brief was to increase traffic to the website organically using social media and increasing organic search rankings. Additionally, we were tasked with optimising conversion on the existing site via content and layout tweaks, all to make the site easier to use for readers, but also to make it more appealing to potential advertisers.
Our brief was to prepare and deliver a comprehensive online marketing strategy ensuring that Disability Today stood out from the crowd and the online disability community was able to find the right information and resources, exactly when they needed them.
Unfortunately, the Disability Today website held no previous analytical data so this was installed straight away, and their Google & Social presence was practically zero. We also made content changes, fixed ongoing technical SEO issues, and increased social media exposure.
As a result of the eJIGSAW strategy, the site has seen a massive improvement in practically all metrics, which can be seen in the images, however, some of the standout improvements are a 720% increase in organic traffic, a 91% decrease in bounce rate, and an increase in 1,648 places for various prominent keywords.
