We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front End Developer to join our exciting and growing start-up team.

This role is seeking an exceptional individual with a strong passion for working in a fun, innovative, and fast-paced agency who do things differently.

We don’t pile people into a room looking at a wall and throw work across the room at them. Our home is bright, brand new, and set in 10,000sq/ft. of modern open plan office space with meeting rooms and a young friendly team.

If you’re incredible at creating innovative, modern, and cutting edge pixel perfect websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, then eJIGSAW would love to hear from you!

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing websites from scratch from a .psd file, across various platforms, primarily WordPress, to client deadlines.
  • Creating responsive websites, email templates, and social media marketing materials.
  • Consistently creating high-quality and robust solutions and code.
  • Attending client meetings to share ideas and collaborate with our customers.
  • Providing a high level of proactive customer service.
  • Developing the role and researching new technologies when required.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with HTML and CSS (including XHTML)
  • Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
  • Experience of building and developing responsive websites from scratch
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is desirable
  • Knowledge of MySQL and PHP is desirable
  • Knowledge of Magento is desirable
  • Experience within an agency environment is desirable
  • The usual stuff – time management, ability to work under pressure, use your own initiative, communicate with other members of the team at all levels blah, blah, etc., etc.
