We are conscious of our environmental footprint and are constantly making moves to use suppliers that have a similar ethos, and for that reason, we’re going green!
Going green! For us to create going forward we know we have to acknowledge and reduce our global impact and aim to re-nourish the planet, by working in a more sustainable manner.
Therefore, we are happy to announce that our printed paper now comes from factories that use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper, which means that the paper comes from more environmentally friendly, socially responsible, managed forests.
Using FSC certified paper is effectively a win-win. Your work will be produced on more vibrant paper and we can all rest assured that we are helping to protect our forests; which are all good things for you and your business:
- Brighter paper
- Smoother paper (more optimise for print)
- More vibrant print
- Environmentally friendly
- Same great price for premium paper stock!
As we as a global community begin to move away from fossil fuels, we will have to look at how this will affect our industry. The computers we use and the ink we print from are all produced from oils. The printing industry is beginning to use non-petroleum based inks, which we at eJIGSAW are hoping we can use in the not too distant future.
We need to look at the full picture, the end product, and all that’s in between to really determine the sustainability of a product. The life cycle of the product needs to be questioned, as a studio, we are asking these questions and working towards answering them in a way that’s good for the planet and business equally.
Additionally, from our incredible UI/UX designs, and talented development team, we aim to streamline our code and images to reduce download time, which consequently reduces the amount of energy used, everyone’s a winner!
